My Go to Drugstore Concealer With Swatches: Rimmel Match Perfection Skin Tone Adapting Concealer
I’m pretty sure I’ve written about these before but I’ve been reaching for them so often lately I thought I’d type up a more in-depth review.
I purchased all three shades available at the store, Fair/Light 230, Light 245, Medium 430. These really do change to better match your skin when applied so you can play around with the colors for different areas of your face and customize the use of these. I like to use Fair/Light under my eyes, and Light over hyper-pigmenation, and when I’m tan Medium works well for me. I can also use these to contour and highlight in a pinch.
The applicator is a squeeze tube/brush which works pretty well. I usually squeeze the product onto my finger and then dab onto my face where needed.
The thing I like most about this product is how easily it blends into my skin. I apply where needed and then just tap it in with my beauty blender sponge and it’s practically invisible. It works great under my eyes but can also be used all over my face so it’s super vesatile and quick to use.
The texture of these is very creamy. It’s not dry or waxy at all so it doesn’t look cakey or too thick but it still covers well. These can be hard to find in stores, I was excited when I saw these at CVS but if you can find them I highly recommend trying them out.
The biggest con of these is I go through them kind of quickly. A tube of the Light which I use most often (almost everyday) lasts me about a month and a half.
Things To Know:
1. This is one of the most versatile concealers I own. It works all over the face and under the eyes and I can use these to contour and highlight when I need to.
2. This concealer has a creamy texture but doesn’t slip or slide too much. It won’t settle in fine lines either and it doesn’t break down my mascara.
3. I wouldn’t say this is particularly long-lasting or water-proof but if you set your face with a powder these should wear as long as your foundation.
4. I prefer blending these out with my beauty blender or fingers.
5. I do notice that the colors of these adjusts slightly when I apply it to my face. The back of each concealer also lists which Rimmel foundation it matches best with.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer
This Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer is my new favorite under-eye concealer. I’ve been wearing it about a week now and it by far out performs any of my other drugstore concealers. I actually like this more than my Maybelline Age Rewind concealer.
I purchased mine in the shade radiant. I don’t have horribly dark under-eye circles so this covers and brightens fantastically for me. The thing I like most is I have no creasing with this. It doesn’t settle in any lines I have under my eyes and blends out seamlessly.
The applicator tip is a brush. You twist the bottom and the product comes out the tip. The application is easy and I just blend it out with the pointed end of my beauty blender.
I don’t have too much more to say besides I’m really enjoying this and I recommend it for anyone who hates creasing under their eyes.
Things To Know:
1. This is a gel based formula. I think this really helps with blending, it doesn’t feel greasy and I have no creasing with this.
2. This is marketed as an all-over concealer. I’ve mainly used it under my eyes but you can use it on other areas of your face.
3. This does a great job brightening under your eyes and around the inner corner of eyes
This is my new favorite under-eye concealer!

Rimmel Match Perfection 2-in-1 Concealer
I’ve discovered my new favorite concealer and it only cost around 5 dollars at CVS. The Rimmel Match Perfection concealer covers amazingly for me and blends in perfectly. A few seconds after application the color does begin to adapt to your skin and hides any redness or dark circles flawlessly. This past weekend I wasn’t feeling very well and when I did leave my apartment I skipped foundation entirely and just wore this concealer! I have a very hard time find concealers that work well enough that I can skip my foundation so that’s saying alot. The color I bought was 245 Light.
The packaging is easy to use, it comes in a squeeze tube with a blending brush on the end. I’m not a huge fan on the brush and I usually end up blending the concealer out with my beauty blender sponge.
I find this works well for me on blemishes, redness and under my eyes which is pretty good for one concealer. My only complaint is I find myself squeezing out more product than I need and even though I’ve only had this tube a few weeks I’m almost out of it. However, this will be a repurchase for me. Love love love this stuff!

So here is my little jar of NYX concealer
Sorry, the picture isn’t very good!
I purchased mine off cherryculture.com because I wanted to try and it haven’t seen it available at ULTA but you can buy it from the ULTA website where I buy alot of my NYX stuff. It cost 4.50 and I bought a few other things so I didn’t pay any shipping!
I got the shade beige and I’d say its a pretty good match to my skin color. The consistency of this is very creamy and blendable and you do get some good coverage with it. It definitely works around the nose and cheek area to conceal any redness and I use it under my eyebrows after I pluck to cover any irritation I have. When it comes to covering blemishes I’d say this is so so. It goes on pretty well but I find myself having to retouch any really bad spots I have. I’ve tried this under my eyes as well and I think it works fine for that. Its not so thick that it settles in lines and I always set it with a powder.
I’m still looking for that perfect concealer but in the meantime this works well.
